hey guys. argh, i wrote a post ytd lah, but because of some stuff, my com was hanged and didn't managed to publish the post i typed ytd.

firstly, the band practice yesterday was not at all fruitful. well, there wasn't enough time due to the sec 4s english oral. the playing wasn't good, can't be helped too. it's was because of the examinations and we had the real long break. and most of you might hav forgotten your embouchure and stuff. but i hope there'll be improvements in the next band practice. always remember that there must be a 'balance' in the music. as in, the lower brasses and woodwind must always be heard and stuff. Mr Yeo always emphasises on that.

please take note of the dynamics too!

the competition is just a few mths away. but the practices we are going to have are VERY LIMITED. like what mr yeo have said, let's all just buck up alright? please do not wait till it's just like 3 practices away and you try to sound like some professionals. it's impossible! but it'll be possible if you try to improve NOW and if you're unsure, always ask the seniors. do not hesistate to ask mr yeo too!

i know some of you are not very happy with the punishments, as in you did help with the clearing up, but many of them did not. see the word ' ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL? ' clearing up should be the whole band's duty. i saw many ppl outside the band room STONING. yes stoning, like a statue. please, if u are unsure of what to do. always ask! ask the seniors, ask your friends. we must always work together! always initiate too!

I strongly encourage all of you to go for at least one concert. If your allowance is really tight, try to go for the Yuhua & RV alumni band concert! going for concerts gives you more exposure to other school bands. it's a great opportunity to go hang out with your friends and relax after the examinations. Do not hesistate to contact me! Thru MSN or SMS.

Please hand in your consent forms and your band funds for April to Pei Rong. Do prepare to pay up your band funds for May soon!

There will be a committee for Executive Commitee member meeting on Thursday @ 2.30pm outside band room.
Attendance is compulsory.
